Who are you?
Good question.
Hi - I'm Sarah Faye Cohen.
I am a strategist, facilitator, and coach who specializes in supporting individuals, teams, and organizations to creatively and sustainably address pressing problems.
Our work together will draw on my experience:
-
building organizations from the ground up
-
working closely with teams to launch, reinvigorate, and sustain programs
-
leading teams responsible for research, data science, instruction, and access
-
coaching and supporting leaders through various stages of their ventures
-
presenting and facilitating trainings at hundreds of organizations
My approach to catalyzing transformative and sustainable change is steeped in my values of authenticity, respect, and inquiry.
I am a graduate of Smith College and the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign's Graduate School of Information Science. I hold certificates from the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Social Impact Strategy (where I also served as a teaching fellow), IDEO in Designing and Activating Strategy, and the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership at Seton Hall University. I am a Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and Gallup Global Strengths coach.
Previously, I've served as Senior Managing Director at the Open Education Network and Associate University Librarian at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I am a two time winner of the Association of College and Research Libraries' Excellence in Academic Libraries Award.
I am also a super mom and the best wife ever. I enjoy reading, writing letters, dogs, puzzles, walking, fly fishing, skiing, and supporting local businesses.
